When Sony Mobile is busy, KAN is buzzing.

During the last week of August, Sony Mobile made news at the consumer electronic trade show IFA in Berlin, and KAN played a creative and coordinating role in the digital aspects of the event. A range of new smartphones were unveiled, as well as the first ever Xperia tablet. In preparation for IFA, we were given the task to develop the product home pages for all the launches – including one in an entirely new product category. One of Sony Mobile’s biggest announcements of the year demanded solutions that were innovative in their communication and more technically advanced than usual. And, of course, it was crucial that all our ideas worked flawlessly on phones and tablets as well.

We also had the task of manning the controls back home – publishing the announcements on sonymobile.com, the press release site and through Sony Mobile’s social media channels. It was a sensitive job that required everything happening at exactly the right time, no itchy trigger fingers and hundreds of phone calls between Malmö, Lund and London.
