Sony, who is an official partner of the 2014 FIFA World CupTM in Brazil, has released a number of different campaign sites and apps to support this event.
KAN has created the Share the moment Facebook app on the global Sony Mobile Facebook application/hub.
Share the moment, which is the name of the Sony campaign, encourages users to hashtag their Instagram images with #sharethemoment in order to be able to win amazing prizes. Every day, a new winner will be drawn and the campaign will be active until the end of the World Cup in July. More than 20 markets have tied into the activity.
Share the moment is a global app, but we have also developed a localized version. This gives the opportunity for local markets to localize the content and add the competition as a Facebook tab on their own local Sony Mobile Facebook page. Croatia, USA and South Africa, to mention a few, have added their own local version of the global activity.
